We thank you again for your patience as we worked to resolve the issue with our mail services yesterday and today.
Mail services became unresponsive early afternoon yesterday (Thursday 2/8), at which point programs were restarted and emergency maintenance scheduled for 10 pm. As the afternoon progressed, there were some intermittent issues, and services again were interrupted at 10 pm while we performed several updates.
This morning, we applied another update to accommodate for increased activity and mail services have been running consistently and stably since.
During these periods of downtime, you may have noticed problems such as slowness or errors while checking email, sending email, or accessing webmail. These problems were solved with the update of mail services and we have been monitoring mail services all day today, without incident.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
