Marketing roundtable in Westfield
A marketing roundtable titled "This Little Business Went to Market ..." on Tuesday, April 18, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Genesis Center, 53 Mill St., Westfield. The program is sponsored by Woronoco Savings Bank, Westfield Chamber of Commerce, Westfield Community Development Corporation and the regional office of the Small Business Development Center.
The session will discuss identifying customers, building a message, discovering how and when a prospective customer is "open to buy," approaching customers in a proper and timely manner and learning how to translate a business message onto the Internet in an effective way.
Panelists will include Ira Bryck, director of the Family Business Center; James A. Velis, owner of the Velis Insurance Agency; Rob Weinberg, president of MarketBuilding Team; Victoria White, owner of eclecTechs/Valinet; and Bo Sullivan, WHYN radio personality and the luncheon speaker.
