What is THE INTERNET REALTOR®?
That is what many wanted to know at the
4th Annual GSAR Education Fair and Trade Show
Springfield, MA - At the 4th Annual Greater Springfield Association of Realtors® Education and Trade Show, Victoria A. White, owner of The Internet Connection gave a lecture on the newest real estate phenomenon - THE INTERNET REALTOR®.
THE INTERNET REALTOR® is the latest concept for Realtors® to market, showcase, obtain information on fiscal ingenuity, appraisal, trends, and census figures. It is an essential and logical way for many buyers and sellers to look at property, Realtor® biographies, and neighborhood information. Ms. White discussed the two most important services for Realtors® - Electronic Mail and the World Wide Web. "Using e-mail for mailing lists and the WWW to market yourself and your property has become a necessity for Realtors®" said Ms. White. "Many people have found a new love - shopping for their new home in their pajamas!"
"That's what makes the Internet so effective"said Mary McGuire owner of CENTURY 21 Pioneer Valley Associates and a member of GSAR "it provides a comfortable, low profile way for people to research real estate information and inevitably makes it easier for everyone when it comes to the final sale".
While it is important for THE INTERNET REALTOR® and any other business owner to provide information about themselves, Ms. White points out that gathering information about the people who visit their web site proves to be essential. "Adding forms for people to fill out or a discussion page is a great resource to keep up with people's questions or concerns".
Ms. White and The Internet Connection created the GSAR web site at http://www.westmass.com/gsar which was used as a demonstration for the recent National Association of Realtors® national convention in California.
